Vanilla Item filter in Semi-Vanilla

The hopper filter operator should be a thing in Semi-Vanilla since there is no way we could make an item filter here. And since its sem-vanilla, it wouldn't seem unfit to implement that here as well. Please consider this request as it is not a big one and helps with gameplay a lot. I am sure regular vanilla players will agree with me here.

well there are ways to make filters in totally vanilla style they will just need more hoppers , you can search on youtube about it. But yeah sorting non stackable items are pain! Idk why you using it but if you using for storage i would suggest you to just fill your inventory and dump into chest as this would be way faster than any sorter

No, no kind of item filter works in Blockstackers, it is only that plugin which will make it possible
And you talk about manually sorting items? good luck doing that with raid farm

pure 100% vanilla server for public is almost impossible to run smoothly, so you probably will never find it, unless the ones with terrible tps, hence almost all vanilla server are actually semi-vanilla, with tp to another player as the most inevetibale feature to have at the very least,
what i mean by mindset is that you wanting a completely non vanilla feature while playing in a server that is bearing "vanilla" in its name, for things like that you should play in a suitable server, which in bs it is either classic or towny..

You see, the feature i am asking for is kinda justified no? If there is no other way we can make an item filter hopper due to server limitations, introducing a handy plugin will not harm anyone. Its not like i am asking for AE or /fly for rank perks. Classic too OP, why would u compare such small thing with a server that literally gives u /fly after a certain rank.

i am just saying that you should play the server as it is supposed to be, suggestion are fine but make it so that it is still preserving its strong point that make it unique that people are enjoy playing, which in semi-vanilla is "mostly vanilla",

sure you can request any non vanilla feature to be added to semi-vanilla, the prime example is looting 5 which even classic doesn't have, but they weaken and eventually erase semi-vanilla's strong point, you might be fine as it is your idea, but others, especially new players might not, eg by saying "oh this server isn't what i expected it to be, i better find another server",

classic might look like too op for you but it is actually pretty straightforward, classic is vanilla-ish economy server with ae as its #1 strong point,
while towny is similar to classic except it comes with completely custom gameplay, simply put, rpg-ish,
on the other hand semi-vanilla is mostly vanilla, do note that since it is bearing "vanilla" in its name, new players expect it to be vanilla since that is the reason they choose the name,

btw, i don't play in semi-vanilla, so what happened and what will happen to it corcern me not, the reason i don't play semi-vanilla is that it offers too few goals to reach, eg, killing ender dragon, or getting all materials,

on the other hand, as much as i interested in the rich-featured towny, its seasonal nature with completely different features and/or world for each season prevents me from playing it, lets say that i grinded hard in towny for weeks already, and the next month, towny will be completely different, as if what already happened was just a dream,

therefore i only play in classic, since there are so many goals to reach, eg getting heroics aes, to be the richest is the server, and so on, and classic is extremly stable, what i built there 3 years ago is still exist even now, and the mechanics are hardly changed..

we do have higher level of vanilla enchantments as a way of compensating the lower mob limits on vanilla which exist due to constraints of running multiple servers on a single machine. however, the suggestion has been under consideration and while i agree with both sides of the argument here we'll only be able to process it while ensuring that there are no "workarounds" that some players are very famously known to look for.

Seems like you missed my point aswell.
If a feature that should have been there in vanilla form of the game isnt there due to some reason, a plugin offering that feature in a slight different way isn't too non-vanilla.
